Is the upgrade to Guitar Track Pro 4 worth it

    I ask because a friend that I have been working with, he writes lyrics and plays a little guitar, has just purchased a V20 and I was wondering if the extra bits would be a useful addition to assist with his song writing efforts.

    GTPro4 ships with the V Studio 20 Wook, and by the look of the blurb, I think it's the full version: http://www.cakewalk.com/products/v-studio/default.aspx?Prod=vs-20

    Unfortunately not just the basics no the extra instruments, bit irrelevant now as he has gone and done it anyway I think.

    ive got guitar tracks pro 3 and want to know if its worth it?
    and also would this work with either programs, to hook my guitar to my laptop?
