GTP 3 Playback Problem

Hello,

I have GTP 3 and I'm having a problem during playback.  Up until about a year ago I had a TonePort UX1 that I used as my soundcard and for recording everything.  I have yet to replace it, so I don't do any more recording (and it has been awhile since I've messed with GTP).  I opened my old files tonight just to mess around with them a bit, but unfortunately when I play them, they are very...warbled.  It's very odd sounding, very wavy.  They are also off-time with the meter.  At least 2 beats into a measure is when the measure starts, although oddly enough the first measure starts off fine.

I'm sure it probably has something to do with the fact that I am using onboard sound, but I thought I would ask here if anyone had any ideas.  I would just like to be able to play them back normally until I can get another TonePort.

Thanks for any help, my PC specs are below.

    Hi there Dave

What is the built-in soundcard you're now using?

The problem you are experiencing might just be a difference in sample rates - you may have recorded at 44100Hz with your TonePort, but might be playing the project back at 48000Hz (or vice versa).

If that rings a bell, see if you can change your soundcard sampling rate to see if that helps.
