Need new graphic card. PCI - Low profile - dual screen

After installing my ESI ESP1010e audio interface in my computer, the displayport for the 2.screen is not working.

The m-atx mainboard does only have 1 PCIe and 1 PCI connection. Ive used the PCIe for the audio interface and it is working perfectly (about 2.5ms latency, stable in Sonar 8.5)
the computer have a Intel Q45 mainboard, with integrated graphics. Unfortunately, when installing any kind of PCIe interfaces, the displayport is deactivated...

I have not found a cheap, low profile PCI (probably because it is old) graphics card with dual screen which supports Win7 64bit besides Matrox P690.
The card is very expensive here, I've found someone at eBay but they do not ship to Norway...

Any other suggestions?

I have a ATI FireMV 2400 Quad card (128mb) on hand, but I cannot find it is compatible with Win7 64bit...

Nvidia is the best graphic card and best suitable for as per your requirement. You can go for it,it works effectively.

I can find a whole heap of cards with PCIe cards, but none PCI? Atleast not supporting Win7 64bit?

The PCI standard is quite old, I know.

I really should have gotten a PCI --> PCIe adapter, if that does exist... Anyone know?

Hello... have you tried to manually set the graphics to boot up from the mainboard video only, or from the PCI slot in the motherboard BIOS? or otherwise the INTEL board could be set to AUTO... always looking to see if something is plugged into the PCI-X slot, for graphics... chances are, the INTEL mainboard BIOS is designed to use the PCI-X slot for video only... and you best price and performance option, is to get a different motherboard with more than one PCI-X slots. Your video cards options with Win7 64 drivers will be future proof... Resell the Mother board on EBAY!!!

Yes, I just threw the whole computer out and built a rack DAW i7 instead :)

Had to find a new quad graphics card though, as the ATI is not Win7 x64 compatible...

The Matrox QID PCIe works great with win7 64bit (thats the one I bought)

they are EOL now, so I got it for about 45$

Just wondering how you finally are getting along with the ESP1010e card? I'm thinking of getting the same to go with my Sonar X1 Producer Win7 64bit PC. It only has PCIe slots, and this is the only card I've found with 8 x 8 in/out analog interface. Thanks for any input on this card before I purchase it. Julio Edwards in Denver

Just how old is your MB? And what brand and model is it?

Does it have an AGP slot? More of those avaialble than PCI I expect--even now.

You can probably find a newer MB with compatible chip and memory for less than an overpriced antique video card.

    EBay?

Sounds like you have things sorted, I was surprised to find this NVGT 430 A passively cooled PCI card that has full DX11 support. I use nVidia cards for their stereoscopic 3D driver and I'm a bit disappointed that they are supporting legacy PCI better than AGP. Most up to date AGP card they make is the 7950GT no longer made.

Yes, it has been working fine. until now, it suddenly started to get totally muted in a project. a few clicks here and there and it was up again. Sent it back for repair to Thomann (retailer) so we'll see :)

I did have very low latency with it - and it has been stable. my 4.th ESI audio interface.

I have now actually changed it for a Tascam FW 1884.

Just apprehensive how you assuredly are accepting forth with the ESP1010e card? I'm cerebration of accepting the aforementioned to go with my Sonar X1 Producer Win7 64bit PC. It alone has PCIe slots, and this is the alone agenda I've begin with 8 x 8 in/out analog interface. Thanks for any ascribe on this agenda afore I acquirement it. Julio Edwards in Denver.
