GTP 4 Drums

Hi can any body tell me if you can make up your own drum beats in studio instrument drums like step sequence for instance or is there any other drum programe that i could use with the studio v 20.
At the moment i am just using the studio v 20 as it came but can not find the right beat that i am looking for

The sounds like spring check out If You will pick up the other beats . So that I want to say that You will distribute it in step by step . So You will also understand it and also pick up the right beat as well.

Try using piano roll view on your Studio Instruments Drums track to write out your drum parts.

I don't think you can  import new patterns into Studio Drums but,you can use Studio Drums to play midi loops and drum patterns you create in prv within a project in GTP 4.

Do you know which 'key' goes with which drum sound?

You have to find the right drum map.Click on the options tab,at the bottom it says "Drum Map Manager",click on that, click on new, click on the drop down tab next to the prestes box, look through the list until you find the one for Studio Instruments Drums, click on that.It will list wich keys trigger wich sounds.
