Emu 0404 (or 0202) USB users

Hi All
I'm just wondering whether to get the 0404 PCIExpress card or the USB version
for my new machine. I'm a bit worried that the PCIExpress card might not fit in the slot as the CPU cooler is very close and it looks extremely tight for my liking and so migh be forced to use the USB version. The 1 PCI slot I have on the board is reserved for my Yamaha SW1k assuming I can get it running.
Am I right in thinking that I will no longer have 32 internal channels showing up in Sonar or have I missed something?
How many channels will the usb version provide internaly and does it hjave any of the emu fx (not that I use them much)
