Pyro 5 error - No CD/DVD drives found

I have searched and searched but cannot find any assistance with this issue. I'm hoping someone has an answer for me.
 
Pyro 5 is not detecting wither of the two CD burners installed in my PC.  I am the Admin user so that cant be the issue, but I'm receiving the following error messages when I click on Rip CD from the wizzard:
 
"Pyro cannot rip tracks from CDs,
because no CD drives that can do this task appear to be installed."
 
At one time I had Nero installed on this PC but got rid of it once I installed Pyro.  Pyro 5 worked for a very short while, allowing me to burn CD-Rs but, I would still get a pop up error first saying that no drive was detected. Then the burning process would begin.  Now, I cannot burn/rip at all.
 
Is there some type of issue with the registry that needs to be cleaned up?
HELP!  My hardware/software specs are below.
