*** SOLVED *** Suddenly, no sound from EZ Player --> EZ Drummer

I had a template set up to load both EZ Player and EZ Drummer, but I'm not getting any sound when I audition drums in EZ Player.  And although "show midi activity" is checked in EZP, when the files are running the midi light is always off.
 
I have tried re-loading both EZ's independently, and tried various combinations of setting within the tracks.  So, my question is:
 
What is the definitive way to load these two items into Sonar?  (I.e., does EZP have to be loaded before EZ Drummer [I have tried loading each one first]).
 
And I have confirmed that when EZ Drummer plays the files, sound comes out just fine.
