can't update 64 bit to 8.52

can't update 64 bit to 8.52

installed 64 bit 8 next to 32 bit. Tried to update the 64 bit to 8.52 but the installer said 64 bit wasn't installed. Is it impossible to have both 32 bit and 64 bit 8.52 installed? It looks like it.

    No, I have both installed. Just make sure you don't install them in the same folder. 32-bit goes in c:\program files (x86)\ and 64-bit goes in c:\program files\.

    They are installed in the right places. Still doesn't work. guess I will try uninstalling the 32 bit and see if I can upgrade the 64 then re-install the 32
