Quick Time MOV & AVI Video Files in PRODUCER 8.5.3 64 bit!!!!!!!

.

Are any of you working with MOV or AVI files in SOnar Producer 8.5.3 x64 yet??

If so, how do you do it??

Is there a 64-bit wrapper / converter for MOV files in QT Pro, or anywhere else?

Do I have still to work with Quick Time MOV files in Producer x32 ???

I tried exporting my MOV files to AVI using QT Pro, but no dice. (This still works in Producer 32-bit).

I assume 64-bit Video files work fine...but nobody sends me these for work!!

Solutions?

Thanks in advance, lads!

    No problem.

Hopefully Cakewalk is reading some of this stuff and working on it.

    .

yeah, the video thing has obviously been a low priority for them.

who knows if they're motivated to change this...

...if there's enough demand from us users.

it's frustrating, though - because it seems like they're so close!

it's not like we're trying to do video editing - we just want to be able to do at least basic PLAYBACK in SONAR.

i mean why even have the ability to import and play video - if you can't even 'import' or 'play' video??

We're all waiting for Apple to provide a 64 bit codec for its Quicktime player (used to render movies in SONAR) along with a 64 bit Flash player from Adobe etc etc
