Automation:

Hey Cakewalkers,

I just want to know if you can automate the mutes on each track in sonar 8.5 or do you have to use a mouse?  Because I set my track to  write automation, but I tried to use the mute button on the v-studio 100 to mute-unmute the track and it will mute and unmute, but it won't write it.  I know this is simple.  Tell me what the procedure is... Please someone help.....I just  want to know how do you set up for automation; I don't want you to know my setup because one question may lead to another.  I think I just need to know how to do automation with the mute...I love my v-studio 100; but this would be a big step toward my mixdown...Until then, I will just unmute mute automation with my mouse....LOL

No luck here either on X1.
If I want to automate the mute I need to use the mouse, not the VS-100.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!
