When PB recorded Audio only see one side wave

When PB recorded Audio only see one side wave. I used to be able to record say only mono and then only see a single line of that wave frequency thing, but now for some odd resaon I record in stereo and only see the top line with waves and the bottom line with just a straight line. Not a major issue but just wondering what to do to get both lines moving when recoridng in stereo. Thanks.

Perhaps you're recording a mono signal into a stereo track.

You need to select a mono input for sonars track. When you select an stereo input, you'll get a one stereo wave file that only has one channel recorded in it, because your recording a mono signal

Not a major issue but just wondering what to do to get both lines moving when recording in stereo.

It is an issue for you, To record a stereo track, you need a stereo source.. most sounds we record are in mono (voice, guitars, bass, snare, kick)
You need a stereo source to record into a stereo track.

    Mono source = Mono track
    Stereo source = Stereo Track
