I'm having a major Session Drummer 2 looping problem (w/video).

Okay, this was originally posted in the Sonar LE Forum, but it probably isn't a Sonar LE 8.5 issue and it was suggested to post here.

Here's the original thread:

Here are the videos:

Basically, well, it's weird... in Session Drummer 2, sometimes the beats work for the original bars, but anytime it is stretched (looped) out, it loses sound on most drums.

As for my computer specs, I just have a lower end Toshiba Satellite: AMD Sempron SI-42 2.10 GHz processor 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM (8 GB max. supported) 250 GB SATA hard drive, DVD RW DL drive ATI Radeon 3100 graphics Integrated audio with built-in stereo speakers.  32-bit OS.

I'm not trying to be whiny, but I've trying to figure this out for days. It's like getting a toy on Christmas without batteries. Thanks in advance.

What I'm seeing and hearing is that the second iteration of the groove-clipped MIDI sounds just like the first, but neither sounds like the original pattern. I've run into this bug (and mentioned it in another thread) myself, that the MIDI you drag out of SD is not actually the same pattern it's playing internally; it's one of the other variations. You can verify this by actually going to the folder where the patterns are stored, and dragging the correct pattern from there. I believe this problem persists in SD3.

Where should I drag the correct pattern to? I can't drop it into Sonar MIDI track from the folder like I can straight from the Session Drummer program.

Honestly, after four days, I'm about to just give up. I'll just eat the, thankfully only, $9.99 for Session Drummer and look around for another VST drum kit... or maybe another recording program all together.

I installed both Sonar LE 8.5 and Session Drummer 2 on my other computer (running Windows XP) and the exact same results.

You should be able to drag and drop a .MID file into a MIDI track, but if all else fails, there's always File > Import > MIDI

Directly importing the MIDI file gives the same result.

Here is another video... the problem is simply not all drum play in the loop. They play perfectly fine in the Session Drummer interface.

On the bright side, I'm learning a bunch of different things trying to solve the problem.
