[Dance-Rap Track] Party Night
Hi, all! I finally bought the much-heralded Nexus, and, considering the price, found it somewhat lacking. There are some fantastic presets there, but not enough, imho. So, it would be nice to have four times fewer presets and have the price cut by half. Anyway, I picked the best sounding preset I could find, and made a song out of it. CDbaby gives a 30 second preview, if I have not earned your dollar :) Created with P5, then a studio did the mixing, mastering and vocal recording. Cheers! http://www.cdbaby.com/InspiredBM

Hey, HiThere. 3 songs in 3 weeks - P5 is making a comeback.
Liked what I heard. The song seemed faster, more upbeat than your previous songs. I liked it, and the Nexus sound, too. Maybe you'll find some more sounds - it worked on that song.

Thank you, AT :) Except I pretty much ran out of useful Nexus sequence patches, since I am not good at making music from the scratch. And I've got Nexus, plus two Bass expansions...need to start playing with Nexus Arp section, perhaps...any ideas?

Sorry, don't know nexus. You might check out Ugo's Ironhead drum machine. Lots of electronic sounds (it is a synth), tons of presets and fairly intuitive to program.
And cheap.

Thank you, AT. I got the demo version of Ironhead, and will play with it to see if it's worth the $35 :)
