Rapture Expansion Packs Not Installing correctly?

Rapture Expansion Packs Not Installing correctly?

I use Sonar with Rapture. I recently "tried" to install the Expansion Packs 1/2 I downloaded from the Cakewalk website. However, nothing shows up in the Rapture program list.

I run the Install file. It continues for about 60 seconds copying all the files to c:\program files\cakewalk\Vst\Rapture\Expansion1-2 but then when I check the directory later on, it's completely empty. Yet the file path is the same as it says in the install window. Furthermore, Rapture obviously doesn't recognize that anything extra is installed. I tried this twice already.

What's going on here?

    Try F5 in the browser.  I think that is the key to force Rapt. to scan the presets.

    That is the simplest maybe solution.  There is a thread somewhere about another problem w/ the Ex. Packs a while ago.  Try a search if the F5 don't work.

    If you are using Rapture 1.1 or higher you'll need to use the updated expansion pack installer which will install the programs to the new program folder location.

    Thanks for the help. Turns out I downloaded the combined Exp1+2 for Rapture v1.2+

    My rapture is 1.0.

    That and F5 did the trick.
