Evil Drums or Metal Foundry?

I bought Superior Drummer 2.0...pretty cool.

For those that are using Superior Drummer which drum expansion kit to you dig.  I write rock, hard rock, metal and prog.  I really dig a big chest pounding tight kick.  I'm looking at Evil Drums or Metal Foundry.

Watcha think?

I'm using Metal Foundry for almost everything. it has a huge variety of drums and cymbals to choose from and tweak.

used it on my last 3 remixes (check 'em out, mostly metal stuff):

Haven't tried Evil Drums, but Metal Foundry is definitely excellent... http://digifreq.com/?MetalFoundrySDX

It's kind of like asking me if I like chocolate cake or cheesecake.  Well, it's cake isn't it?  I like them both.  I gravitate to the Evil Drums more though.

If your game is metal, then the Metal Foundry is the way to go.  There are some nice plump presets that are straight up METAL! The Bullies and Texas Metal presets are an excellent starting point.

Evil Drums is nice, but you'll have to do some tweaking to get them to where the Foundry is.  In my opinion, Evil Drums is/are better on BFD 2.0 than Superior 2.0.

I've got both and they are both very nice, but I find myself using Evil Drums more often these days.

I actually had the expansion for BFD2 first, but I had enough problems with BFD2 in x64 that I gave up on it and sold that sample set and bought it again in SD2 format.  It could be that I've gotten better at drum mixes since I was using BFD2, but I'm much happier with the end result using Evil Drums on Superior Drummer 2 than I was with BFD2.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.
