MC4 - Sonar Q's

Does MC4 only allow you to record two audio channels at the same time?

What is the minimum version of Sonar that lets you record multiple signals at the same time?
What is the minimum version of Sonar that has track folders?

    yes.  only 2 simultaneous inputs.

Sonar Home Studio will allow as many simultaneous inputs as your soundcard has.
Sonar Studio Edition is the minimum version with track folders.

    Great Thanks Beagle!

    As for interfaces...
By looking at the screen shots on line, HS7 looks like MC5, and 8.5 Studio/Producer looks more like MC4. Is that true? I ask because I really like the mc4 feel.

that is correct.  they changed the GUI on Sonar Home Studio the same time they changed it for MC.  SHS 6 looked more like sonar and MC4.
