Music Creator 2003 and VST's

Does anyone know how I can use VST's in Music Creator 2003?

I looked in Support and Music Creator 2003 is not listed. It goes from 2002 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5.

Please help.

Thanks.

I don't recall if MC3 has VST support or not. If it doesn't, there is a "wrapper" that you can use to load the VST's.

A better solution is to upgrade.... uhhhhhh... buy the new MC5 version. It has VST support built in and comes with some really nice synths like the Sound Center that doesn't come with MC3.....do yourself a favor, buy the newer MC5... but buy the BOX version... it comes on a DVD with a ton of really nice extras.

They didn't start VST support until the version after MC 2003, MC Pro 24. Even then, you had to purchase the Cakewalk VST adapter, which is no longer available.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

So.... it looks like a good time to visit Best Buy and get MC5 for $40.

Staples and a few other big box stores carry it as well.... and probably some of the music stores like Sam Ash & Guitar Center
