MP3 encoder windows 7

I have recently installed Sonar 8.5 on a windows 7 machine.  I have Pro Audio 9 which included the mp3 encoder.  When I try to activate it with the pro audio 9 disk it says succesfully activated, but does not work in sonar.  Is this encoder still supported?

Its supposed to be. What happens when you try to export to an MP3? If the 30-day trial is expired, it should ask you for your key for the encoder. Then you should enter the code from your ProAudio 9 version and it should authorize it. Otherwise contact Cakewalk Technical Support.

Are you using SONAR x64? If so, you need to contact Cakewalk to get the x64 version of the MP3 Activator.

Contact tech support. They will email you a link to a program to unlock the encoder.
