GUITAR PRO 2 - how do I align tracks accurately?

I'm returning to GT Pro2 after a long time away - so forgive me if this software is out of date - its all I got!!LO!L
I have a recorded Project on 8 tracks and need to align them, and/or parts of them, accurately and also re-align the odd note that comes in too late or too early in some of them.
I can't use the Snap To Grid to drag the tracks about as that is too coarse, being at best 32nd trplet. I only want to make tiny "nudge" type movements.
How do I do it please??
cheers

If I remember my GTP2 nudges are Ctrl+left (or) right arrow key-it's been a LONG time! or smaller one's just left or right arrow key??? Or is that for GTP3??

    Hi Ace
That doesnt seem to work. It just moves the whole of the Tracks view left or right by a few seconds.
I need to grab a track and position it pinpoint. I have also tried highlighting the track and using ctrl to see if that does it but No Dice.
    Any ideas?
    cheers

Hi there Ian, how's it going buddy?

And here's how to nudge in GTP2:

Left click on the track/clip you want to nudge and select Edit > Slide

You can move forward (positive values) or backwards (negative values) in Measures, Ticks, Seconds or Frames.

Ian, I just re-read your post...

If you're dragging the clips around with the mouse, just turn off Snap-To-Grid - they'll stay exactly where you drag them to.

The  button toggles it on and off.

    Hi Steve
doing fine thanks, mate - it's just forgetting basic stuff like this that is really annoying.
Toggle Off - I never thought of it - I'd always assumed that the Snap To Grid was fixed. D'Oh!
    Thanks for your help.
    cheers

It's been a while since I used GTP2, but I vaguely remembered they used 'Slide' instead of 'Nudge'!
