V-Studio 100 Stand Alone Mode - Question

Hi Folks,
I don't fully understand the stand-alone mode but can you dump a stereo mix from Sonar on the SD card and then remotely play back this backing track (in stereo) while you record a seperate mono track such as Accoustic Guitar?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I know there's a simple explanation but How do you import the audio from the sd card? I've searched the manuals and I can't find anything. My computer shows no new HD connection. I'm baffled.

are you trying to put your backing tracks onto the card or are you trying to take tracks off of the card?

    edit:
after reading your post again, it seems that you want to take tracks from the card.

    in that case:
    - go into the vs100 menu>utility and set it as a storage device, then reboot vs100.
    - make sure the usb cable is connected, go into "my computer" and you will see the vs100 on your d or e drive (or whatever).
    - create a file and then i think you can drag and drop the wav files from the card right into the folder.

    i think thats it...

When I import files from the vs 100 to sonar, the files sre incompatible. They're both set at 48000 sample rate. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

    sorry for the delay.
not sure of the way you are doing it. i'm not familiar with going straight from the vs100 into sonar. did you create a file and put the tracks into it and then go open your project and import the tracks?
