DC 9V In Polarity

Hello! I'm sorry that my first post is a help request but the manual is a bit unclear on this. I just bought an A-500 PRO, and I'd like to use it without USB connection. The seller did not have the suitable Roland/Cakewalk AC/DC adapter, but I have a switchable (with selectable voltage, surge protection, temp protection) 9V adapter with the correct plug. I need to know whether the ground pole is supposed to be the center (tip) or the sleeve (ring) in order not to blow up my new toy
Thanks in advance for your answers,

Solved this by myself. FYI, I'm using a +9V DC adapter with positive voltage on the sleeve/ring and ground/0V on the tip/central pole.
