Sectrets of the Pros - tutorial video No Brainer Deal

This time Audiomidi has teamed up with Secret of the Pros and offer their 'From the studio to your stereo' as a download for 5$. I have no idea if it's any good but reading a little about the company and they seem to know their stuff. As the video seemed pretty basic I haven't bought it (yet) bet if anyone buys it please share some info on the quality etc with us all

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

    Videos look interesting.  I'm downloading the the first of eight section of the series "From The Studio To Your Stereo I"
    The download speed is very slow (300KB/s)

    Yeah probably lots of people downloading at the same time putting some strain on the servers. Keep us posted

    Looks very interesting.  I think for $5 bucks I'm gonna get it (actually, if you enter the promotional code "audioMIDI" you get the videos for $4.50).  Hope volume I is not too basic though.  Will post afterwards and let you know.

    OK, Volume I turned out to be way too basic.  They explain things VERY well though, with the exception of Sample Rate.  The guy actually advices people to use sample rates of up to 192KHz, as long as your computer can handle it .  Ignore that and the videos are very good and informative for the noobies.  I really wanted Volume III for $5 USD though lol.  Oh well :-P
