Sonar 8.5 Windows 7 64 bit & UAD 2 cards

I'm about to take the 64 bit plunge and did a search in the forum on 64 bit + UAD 2 cards and found one post of somebody using the UAD cards on a 64 bit system. Do they work with Windows 7 64 bit? Any Issues, work arounds. Are you using bit bridge or J bridge? How about Waves VSTs any issues there?
Thanks guys

     I'm using 2 UAD-1 cards on w7x64 .

I'm not at my DAW right now. From memory, I'm using bit bridge but needed to assign a server instead of using the default auto server mode.

For some reason on my system thel like having the "use as tempo based effect" box checked.
     They are working fine though.

    Hi there,
I'm using a UAD-2 currently in Win 7 64 bit.  Plugs use bitbridge and work without a hitch.  I use 'em all the time.

As a matter of fact, I have 2 UAD2 cards (Quad and Duo) running on WIN 7 x64 using Sonar 8.5.3 x64 as a host and the system SCREAMS..... unbelievable power and SONAR takes care of bit bridging the UAD2 plugs for you... you don't have to do a thing and VIOLA, everything just works.

    Go for it and enjoy.

Any special considerations when installing 32 bit plugins? I installed Sonar 8, applied the patches, installed 8.5 then tried to install Dim Pro and it showed up in the plugins list but would not start. I've reverted back to before Sonar 8 and will start again.
Is Bit bridge automatic or do you have to group in a special folder or configure it?

What labels or identifiers does the UAD-2 plugin have that tells you the track or bus you're working on? assuming multiple instances of the same plugin on several tracks.

    Asus i7-760 Win 8.1/ Sonar Platinum / Lynx Aurora 16 AES16 / Mackie MCU Pro XT C4 / Millennia Media STT1 x 2 TD-1/ UAD-2 Quad x 2 / Neumann O-300 O-810 U87 KM184 x 2 / Shure 57/58
