JOMOX Mbrane 11

Hi,
I have the JOMOX mbrane 11 and am wondering if it is velocity sensitive?  If it is, it doesn't appear to default that way.  In a song I'm working on I'm sending the midi-data (snare drum) out from Sonar to the mbrane.  Although the velocities vary greatly, they all trigger the mbrane at the same volume.  Thanks for your help.
