Cakewalk Studio instruments drums STOP working with reverb????

Hi, i'm actually posting this for my brother, who has a Macbook  (mac OSX leoperd)running logic pro 7. He recently bought the cakewalk studio instruments AU plugins, and they all work great EXCEPT for the studio drums. It works fine and plays perfectly UNTIL he puts reverb on it (the built in reverb in the plugin). Even 1% reverb makes the whole thing stop working.....it simply does not make sound. any idea why this could be???

    he should get in touch with cakewalk tech support.. partly, as well the majority of folk on here are pc users (yer I know some use bootcamp)

    maybe it's a problem how it works with logic 7
