Sonar and Live Together?

Just checked out Live for the first time thanks to the BFD Eco deal - gotta say- it has got a decent workflow.
My question is about scratching it out in Live and then polishing it up in Sonar (afterall, it is the Producer's version!) Anyone do this; can it be done; or are we really talking apples and oranges (a Tale of two DAWS)?
I was hoping to use P5 this way - but the flow never happened, and Sonar while awesome to date, just seems more like where you really do the heavy mixing.
Thoughts and Thank Yous!

Did Live Lite come bundled with Eco? I didn't even notice. I loaded up a version a long time ago to check compatibility with an interface I was having trouble with in SONAR, but that's the limit of my experience with it.

I've tried several DAW demos, but I always drop them because the unfamiliarity slows me down too much... I never even figured out how to get sound out of Studio One!

    Ooops - my bad.
When my UA 101 died, I replaced it with the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra - just a couple of days before the Eco deal came up.  The Ultra came with Live 7 Lite M-Audio edition, which Ableton upgraded to 8 Lite when I registered.
It's not bad - but can't replace Sonar for everything.
The nicest thing so far is the midi controller mapping.  ACT in Sonar and the padKontrol are giving me fits - but in Live you click on the contoller you want to map, touch a pad and away we go!
Please let me know if I am missing this ease in Sonar!
