Failed Console update...

Just tried to update drivers from Version 1 to version 2 and now console won't work.
The editor Ver. 2 says it's not pluged in.
I deleted the set drivers and loaded the stand alone drivers. I don't have the rack pluged in just the board straight to the computer.
Then I updated the firmware to 1.31.

The button light (OK/Enter) on the console is blinking and the display reads:
VS-700 Console Updater
Version:*.** Build:*.**

Need some help here.

Thanks

    Hi GuyPicks,

It sounds like you still have DIP switch 8 in the "on" position and that the VS-700C is waiting for you to send a firmware update to it. It is indicating "Version:*.** Build:*.**" because you must have hit [OK/ENTER] to agree to erase the current version.

I would try running through the VS-700C CONSOLE Firmware Update again. Are you able to do this? It needs version 1.31 to work properly. Instructions can be found at http://www.cakewalk.com/s...der.aspx?ID=2007013192

At the end of the instructions, make sure you put all DIP switches back into the off position so that you can exit the firmware update mode.

    Best,
