Can the A-Pro be used as an audio interface?

I have an awful sound card. I can't even figure out what it is. It's internal, with a dell inspiron, and it's called an IDT High Definition Audio CODEC or something. All I know is that the only driver mode in Sonar 8.5 that I can use is mme-32 bit, even though I have a 64 bit system (windows 7).
I heard that the A-500 Pro can be used as an audio interface, but I can't remember where. It makes sense to me, and it shows up as an audio device in the "devices and printers" folder.
Basically my question is, is there a way to lower my latency this way, because this sound card doesn't cut it.
Thanks for any help.

No. The A-Pro series are MIDI-controllers with no audio interface capability.

Try downloading and installing ASIO4ALL V.2, it worked for me, so it's worth a try.
