Trying some new guitar sounds and production

Been playing with a new guitars, amps and production techniques' for a big sound!

    Some great playing!  Some great guitar tones as well.  What kind of amp & guitars did you for this?

    I used a Tele and Charvel San Dimas doubled up for the rhythm with an Octave effect and a Peavey HP Special USA for the lead.
    The main amp was a Peavey 6505+.
     
    There are quite a few guitar parts buried in the mix as I wanted to achieve a really big tone!

    It's a big guitar sound. I like it a lot. I did hear the octave effect more in the beginning and I know it's very hard to achieve a realistic octave shy of an eventide even when just doubling. I think you did it well though. Very clear. Great harmonics to be had with this tone and the highs never got piercing either. Great Song and playing.

    Thanks for the comments guys,

    I think you can easily over do an effect so I'm pleased that the doubling and octave guitars are balanced well without being over the top.
