How come nobody is interested in my version of Komplete on Craigslist?
I've had my copy of Komplete, Brand New with registration code and all posted on Craigslist for the past several months and not one person has replied to my add. Do musicians in my area not know about Komplete or is it just not that popular? I've never had a hard time selling anything else through CL in the past so this really baffles me.

Maybe it's the ridiculous "(Dis)Service Center" that keeps people from wanting to buy this software.... it certainly keeps me from buying any NI software, as much as I love the sound....

What exact problems have you had with the Service Center Rico, ol pal? I'm genuinely curious as I've never had any. In fact, I think that NI's way of copy protecting and updating it's software may be the best way going. What's your horror story?? Inquiring minds want to know;-)

Just yesterday, IK Multimedia announced their new registration program. Apparently, we're not the only ones who disliked the process. Their new program is available for download.

Which version of Komplete ?
I just bought the full version of Komplete 6 for 250 on Ebay. I was looking on Craigs List locally but most of the adds seemed to be impossibly cheap.
One guy who said 'he would come over and install it on my computer" for 50 bucks...
I really only wanted a full version of Kontakt 4 and that comes in Komplete 6.
It arrived today and it was sealed and I just authorized it no problem.
And I am quite blown away by all I got for 250.00 $ (Considering NI wanted 279 just for Kontakt 4)

Beside the fact that the Guitar Rig 3 got stuck in an endless loop of downloading/installing the newest (dis)service center software, eventually fixed by having make an account and find and download the newest version of the NI website, see what happened with my BFD Eco install. I cannot support a company that uses this kind of scheme. If I pay for something, I expect to be able to use it and reinstall it without having to ask for permission from the company that already has my money...
Common sense in my book...

I will say it took about 10 tries for the service center to connect and authorize and the update downloads took about 10 tries too...but other than that it worked well.
I must say Guitar Rig 4 has been then nicest surprise so far. Very nice stand alone guitar app and that wholed tape deck thing is cool too.

I'm thinking the problem is price as well. I would also suggest Ebay as the place to sell/auction it off. You can always set a reserve price that has to be met before it sells, and you can start with a ridiculous low price to get the bidding going. The reserve keeps you safe so it won't sell for $50 if that's the only offer.
I sell and buy lots of stuff on Ebay. My Craigs List and UPillar listings don't get any offers at all..... I think nobody uses them much.
