volume slider button on the left
Once again i have forgotten how to make the vertical volume slider appear on the right side of my tracks. Sometimes when I turn on cakewalk it is just no longer there.

What view are you wanting the slider inserted in? Track view, console view? Which program are you using? I don't know if you're talking about the Track Inspector or the audio buses.

I'm using music creator 3. It's in Track View and it's the rectangular grey area next to the tracks that usually has a vertical volume slider with a vertical meter next to it. I can't figure out how to get it back.

In SONAR Home Studio 6, you press I (for Inspector) on your computer keyboard.

Options> audio meter settings> at the bottom of the pop up window.... there are 2 check boxes... put a check in them if there is none....for track and /or console view..... waaaa laaa...meters!

When I go to options>audio meter settings> the pop up I then get says audio meter ballistics and no check boxes.hmmm? I can use the horizontal volume control, I just wanted to get the vertical grey one with numbers on the side to slide. I've always preferred that one and can't remember how to get it back.

You are talking about the Track Inspector, right? So, I don't know how to access the TI in MC (my early versions don't have it, but SHS 6 does), so search Track Inspector in the help files, if that is what you're looking for.

As an aside, the shortcut i will only work if it is still mapped properly. The key mappings can be changed in MC4, not sure about MC3, but if the mapping doesn't work it could be because it was changed. There should also be a drop-down in one of the menu boxes which should get you to the Track Inspector as well.
