    I had no idea Beagle was such a minimalist actor.  His ability to strike a pose and then hold it was truely remarkable.  While some might consider his performance "stiff", "wooden", or "played by Keanu Reeves in dog makeup", I think they may have missed the point.  The dramatic impact was clearly heightened by the audience's anticipation of actual action. 

    Far too smart for network television, this is a work of art.
