Where's the RTFM crowd these days?

Where's the RTFM crowd these days?

It's been pleasant lately... sort of.

Is it possible people are actually reading the manual?

Given the way most of that crowd used to behave, their mommies probably washed their mouths out with soap, ordered them to stop crying or they'd get something to cry about, and then put them on the bus to school where there's a slim chance that some of them may eventually learn something.

I have a (serious) theory about their disappearance...

And I don't think it's the 'beta-testing' suggestion others have postulated.

I hate to say it Mike, but if you'd only RTFM, you'd find these questions answered there - on page 934 in the section titled "Answers to self-referencing manual questions" (right below the part about how using the wrong panning laws causes things to go in one ear and out the other).

I knew some one was gonna say that... I guess that's the only way to know when it's time to tell some one else when to RTFM.

    best regards,

It's true some people can't relate the manual to the DAW screen. It's like texting on a forum is more akin to talking to someone. I sometimes wonder if it's a matter of intensity. The book is not as bright as the screen. A matter of focus created by electronic media.

I enjoy learning on the forum because it feels like I am sitting next to a co worker and we are speaking about what ever is topical.
