Help!! Recording Problems

I have been using Sonar Home Studio 7 XL for over a year now and when I try to record my guitar the rcording just stops randomly and it happens over and over again. Any help would be nice. I have never had this problem before.

Computer specs, soundcard, Windows version.... ? Need more info.

Usually it means your computer or soundcard is unable to process the data fast enough or it could be configured improperly.

The Line 6 UX2 is your soundcard in this case then.
Do you know what sampling rate you're using (keep seeing people set really high sample rates and then have problems).
Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
Any other useful info you can provide about how you're set up and what you're trying to do helps narrow down to potential problems.
