Effects Flow

Just a quick question.

Which way does the effects insert window flow?   Top down or Bottom up?   When I put effects in the effects rack which way does the signal flow?

I don't know about X1 since it's not out yet, but in all prior versions it was top down.   First FX, then next, and so on.
They are in series, obviously, but it definitely was (is) top to bottom in that regard.

If you want to go deeper into SONAR's signal flow, press the 'F1' key once in SONAR and type "Signal Flow" in the Search bar.  It shows up near the bottom for some reason, but you should see the topic there in the "Select Topic to display" list.  There's a graph displaying the entire signal flow, though it is not the best graph.

Be honest.   Most people are too lazy to actually read the manuals.  That's what we're all here for lol.

And it's not in that so-last-decade start-with-page-one format, either. You can reassemble the pages in any order you like, reassign the page-up and page-down keys to something beginning with the letter "P", and stack pages in a special window at the bottom. Expect some initial confusion until Brandon posts the demo video. Seth is working on the advanced tips video that will help you dig deeper into the help file.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Good question:  In this land of upgrades is there actually a manual?  Will I finally get a paper copy with X1?  lol

Is anyone ordering the boxed version of X1? Maybe you can read the manual to the rest of us.
