Where to purchase XI as the upgrade of 8.5? Only at the Cakewalk Store? Or also at GC?

Just wondering if we will be able to purchase X1 as the upgrade to Sonar 8.5 at a local store like Guitar Center. 

Currently one can purchase the SONAR upgrade from Sonar Producer 8 to 8.5 at Guitar Center for $119.00.

I know we will be able to purchase Sonar X1 at full price at places like Guitar Center and Sweetwater.  Some stores are listing it already on their websites, but there is no mention of the upgrade prices like the ones for current SONAR 8.5 owners found at the Cakewalk Store.

So after December 8th, will we also be able to purchase SONAR X1 at the upgrade price at Guitar Center, or Sweetwater, or Musician's Friend .......  Or can we only purchase the "upgrade" via the Cakewalk Store?
