Importing old korg X3 sounds

Hi everyone out there! I just started using music creator 5. Years ago I did some stuff in  Cakewalk Audio 7, using sounds from a Korg X3 synth. So I've imported the old songs but they sound dreadful as the instruments are wrong! How can I import the korg x3 sounds now? Is there a way or do I have to go through each track and reassign similar sounds?

If they are midi tracks they will only sound like the synth they play thru. If you want them to sound like a Korg X3, you have to assign the midi tracks to output to a KORG X3 synth. If you still have the Korg, then attach it to the computer thru a midi or if the old Korg has a USB port a USB cable. Then assign the tracks thru midi channels to play the korg.

Once that is done you can route the audio output from the Korg back to the sound card and record the Korg sounds in audio and save them and the problem goes away for ever more.

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

What sounds are you looking for? There are a lot of 'synthesizer' soft synths available, some are free.
What synths did MC 5 come with? Have you got Square 1 and Triangle II?
Anyway, the closest I could find is this:

Since the M1 was contemporaneous with the X3, they may have a lot of the same stuff. $149.
