This is very well done. Simple, rootsy and to the point.

Thanks everyone for the nice feedback. I have a few more Christmas songs but I'm having trouble posting at the moment.

Guitarhacker: I can't remember how I mic'd the guitar it's been so long ago now. I haven't been able to get that sound since. Sometimes things just fall in to place I guess.

    Sure.

I only used one guitar, a Fender San Miguel cutaway. It was dirt cheep but it was the best sounding guitar I played at the time I bought it, and it's held up for 20 years. It's the only acoustic I have other than a 65' Fender Villager 12 string, which surprisingly is worth almost nothing. You'd think a 45 year old American made guitar would be worth a fortune.  Here's a picture I got off the net of the San Miguel ...

I've been getting a lot of hits on this on Box.net lately. Actually, it's weird, I get hits on it all year long, but it has increased recently. Just wanted to bump this, say thanks to whoever is listening, and hope some folks that may have missed it catch it this time around. @No How and Bob: Thanks for listening, my apologies for missing your response first time around on this back in 2010. My how time flies eh? It really surprises me that people are still listening to this after being buried in the Song forum for 2 years. Thanks again.

Great job on this Bub....there's that clarity you always get. I think I gotta start running at 24/96. :) Great playing, tones, mix, version. Harmonies were a nice touch too. Awesome!
