Controlling controller displays in Piano Roll

Howdy - the bottom section of the piano roll view shows several controllers: velocity, CC, aftertouch, afterthought, etc.
All I want to show is Velocity, and I can minimize the others using the little +- boxes in each section of the controller "pain", but they all come back the next time I open the piano roll. 
 
I've failed to find the settings for these things, so I'm hoping someone can help me out with this.
