Smart tools!

Since I posted some concerns in a few other threads (subdued rants actually) and because I enjoy balance, here is something about X1 I really, really dig:

Smart tools. These are super smooth and make tool editing smoother than any DAW I have used.  Awesome!

    Little by little, I'm starting to like them too.  There's so many differences in the GUI now that it's like learning a new program from scratch.   So some things are going to take time.
     
    But, yeah, once I started playing around more (and getting more INFO ... hint hint...manual please!), I started to get a better sense of the Smart Tool approach.
