They're still accessible in the Inspector.

    no.
they are in the inspector and the console view, just not in the track view.

just looked at the track view manager. you cant add it to the track view. it's not an option.

Now it takes 10 clicks to do what a couple used to do? Fantastic workflow enhancement.

One person's clutter is another person's work flow need.  10 clicks seems to be a bit much, though.

Click on track.  Press "I".  Click interleave.

I usually only click interleave on a few tracks in a project.  Once the phase issue is solved, I don't do it again.

    What am I not understanding?

When I do retakes for example on a Guitar Rig track the interleave automatically swaps back to mono because I have a mono input... even though when I was listening I had switched it to stereo. Now it's less likely I'll see that it happens.

I predict that for more than a few folks they will never know it happens... and they'll wonder why the sound seems inconsistent.

    That's what I'm missing. :-)

Also, Interleave and Phase are only seen on the Wide Console strips, not narrow.  CV is the only place where I've used those controls, so what we have works for me.

Thanks for the heads up! :)

I haven't upgraded and all of the screenshots I've seen do not have them showing.

I wish Cake would have given the option to show or hide the controls rather than just remove them altogether.

I am really hesitent of this upgrade.  Not complaining about it. Just not too thrilled with being forced to learn a new App.

I do 99.9% of my work in Track View. Sonar X1 is going to force me to adopt new ways of working.

I use track view for everything as well. Having to hop around a bunch of windows to do simple stuff is going to suck.
