PROBLEM WITH THE STEP SEQUENCER HELP!

Hello
I have a problem with the step sequencer.
When a insert a drum every 2 steps or anything else, I can only do it one time.
If I try to do the same with another drum the program shuts down; same with xp, or win 7 (tried on 2 PC).
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks!

    Good evening all,

    Same bug here.

I own 2 PC one with xp pro and another one with Seven ultimate 64,
I can reproduce this bug on these 2 PC with different plugins.
I tried SD3, Rapture, Dim Pro......

    Same results.

Ok so it seems to be a bug of sonar itself.

maybe post a screen shot.. to show exactly what you mean

but maybe it's something to do with the regional version? since you both French, just a thought

just tried this with 8.5 on Vista 32 and it works OK (no crash)

And I can do it with the same Q9550 CPU, Win7 x64 and E-MU interface (1820m) as Om@S, so it's not platform dependent.

Not a clue what to suggest. If this were a widespread problem, there would be many more posts about it.

On this printscreen, I loaded DimPro 1.5 select a drum kit from PX7 emu soundbank.

In step sequencer I choose in context menu :

fill every 4 steps for the kick. OK

After I select hi hat and choose fill every 2 steps.

Then Sonar freeze or hang on (I don't know correct term...).

I have exactly the same problem: tried with xp pro sp3, vista 32 bits and Windows 7.
Does it come from the hardware?

Hmmm, and everybody's from France. Quite a coincidence, don't you think?

Actually, I recall there being an issue with a French language version. I'll have to hunt up the thread. I'm pretty sure there's a patch.

EDIT: The issue I was thinking of was with SD3 being too loud, and it was fixed in 8.5.2. Since at least Om@S has verified he is on 8.5.3, that wouldn't be releated, but clearly there is still some issue peculiar to the French version.

    Time to e-mail Tech Support.

Any feedback from those French forums? Just curious. Seems like it would be a known (and probably fixed) problem by now.

Ok! I've uninstalled the French version and installed the English one. Everything is working perfect! No more problem with the step sequencer.
I think they should make a patch for this version.
Anyway, now I've all installed in English hoping there'll be no more bugs!
    Thanks a lot everyone!!

    Ok
support answered to me unable to recreate issue. I think support don't try with french version

I owned 3 PC and I can recreate this issue very easily.

Other user on french forum report same thing :
