    I fear you may have hit at the heart of the inspiration for this bleak, godawful look.  Here's Reaper in all its washed out, drab glory:

    Kinda reminds me Sonar 1.

    But a total Acid ripoff though.


    Both much too bright for my taste. I guess I'm a low-contrast type of guy. I like shades of black. ;)
