'Blue screen after install amost finishes - SOLVED'  Solved how?  I'm installing X1 Producer on Win 7 64 bit.  It gets all the way to the final step where it's updating the Windows registry and then I get a blue screen / dump.

You might want to send stratman a PM. He's likely the only one that can answer you, and this thread might be burried before he gets back online.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

I apoligize-I should have posted "what I found and did" not just say solved. I first tried the 2005 distributable fix. That didn't work.
I literally just stumbled on the reason (for my install issues) It was my virtual DVD drive-I use alcohol 120% as my image maker and mounter (DVD's and CD's) Fabul;ous program.
I disabled the virtual drive and X1 installed fine-. I later enabled the VD and had no more of "those type of issues" with x1 Yes, gang, I know thier are issues. I am just relating my install issue in case it even helps just onew person.
