Are we missing GR presets on "Foating"? Listen to the original
On my version of "Floating" from the additional Content the guitars seem to "stick" out and sound funny. Plus I'm not getting any of the cool distorted guitar tones featured in this Promo Video. http://vodpod.com/watch/4807744-introducing-sonar-x1 Check it and see if yours sounds like this. I would love to have the real GR presets for this song. This is a great song, and I think our version has some missing elements, or maybe it's just "my" version of it. Here's how my version sounds (I hope I'm not breaking any copywrite laws!) Listen starting at 0:30 in the chorus. Same here. I'm missing the distorted guitar sounds as well.

Yeah i posted a question about this yesterday, I think what is missing as far as i can see are the presets for Guitar rig 4Le, the guitar tracks all have that plug in on each track and the un processed guitar tracks are runnning through the plug ins but there are no presets loaded on any of guitar tracks, i think we just need the guitar rig 4 presets?
Anyway would be cool to hear it with all the guitar parts with right sounds. Hopefully they can just get us the presets? The song sounds cool nice mix from what i can hear.

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is the issue. I owned Guitar Rig 4 Pro prior to purchasing Sonar X1 so I was not going to install Guitar Rig 4 LE. I have the latest update to GR4Pro 4.1.1 - the Presets for the Cori Yarckin song are not in that update - it must be somehow tied to the LE install perhaps. Those missing the presets - did you already have Guitar Rig 4 PRO? If so, did you skip the GR4LE install? Cakewalk should post the presets for the demo songs so we don't have to install a watered down product to play the projects correctly. All this may be moot if the presets are not in the GR4LE install either. I asked for a response in another thread whee this came up but no one from Cakewalk responded. So - are they in the GR4LE install, can we get them without installing the lite version since at least for me, I already have the full version? As always - I said I could be wrong, so maybe it's something else.

I finally got all the presets in GR4LE after downloading/installing the 4.1.1 update. GR4 works now but the ones used for "Floating" still aren't showing up. I can select a preset for the guitar tracks but I don't know which one(s) they used for the demo? Would be nice to have a list.
Speaking of GR4 a weird thing happened. After installing the update it no longer works in 32 bit. Only in Win 64 bit? Probably something I did but I'm not sure??? Anyone have a clue? Thanks...

Sorry about this - we're pretty sure this is happening because of the GR4LE bug where presets weren't appearing without the 4.1.1 update.
We'll have an updated version of the project file available as soon as possible.

After registering GR 4 you need to run it as a stand alone at least once before you use it as a plugin, to initialize it. Then all your presets should be available. Have you done that? It's a must do with every NI plugin/instrument.

As far as I know, they have not been posted so far - perhaps in X1b patch, but while this simple request has been out there for a while now, it goes unresolved.

Any update on the new project file with the fixed GR4 presets for Cori Yarckin's 'Floating' demo trac k? I know you guys are busy but it can't possibly taken longer than an afternoon to correct something like this. Maybe you should just start a remix contest and let us see what we can come up with...
