Where are my MIDI files stored??

Howdy all,

Here's the problem, it's a simple one.
Where are MIDI files for a project stored??
“C/Program files/Cakewalk/P5v2/My Songs” has the projects and a
folder containing audio files for each project, but no folder for MIDI files, and
I want to use them else where.
Anyone know where I can find them?

Many thanks & Merry Xmas
Rosco.

Project5 does not store MIDI data in standard MIDI files (.mid).  Its own project format (.p5p) is a superset of MIDI itself and thus the MIDI data is stored in that proprietary format.

However, you can export an MIDI pattern clips in Project5's pattern editor as .mid files.  Just open a MIDI pattern in the pattern editor then click the drop-down list control at the end of the pattern name and select the menu option "Save Pattern As MIDI" to save the particular pattern as a MIDI file.  Individual clips in a track can be "combined" into a single larger clip if necessary before saving as a .MID file.
