Session Drummer 3 creating beats

Session drummer 3 seems unable to be used to create rhythms that contain syncopated triplet formats withing a 4/4 or other related settings.
I've tried to put things in triplet event in a 4/4 and have permutation with a 4 event of 4/4  but the thing just stops working on the first aspect of the 4th beat only to just go back and push towards the same old boring beats that are programed into this thing.
Is there any way to get something other than squared and tired beats out of this thing? Can it syncopate triplet formats over not just one measure but a 4 or 8 bar phrase?

    You might want to look in to groove quantise and the step sequencer. Also, did you know you can adjust the snap to grid to use triplets?
