Deleting control surfaces ?

Deleting control surfaces ?

In my plug in manager there is roughly 15+ control surfaces listed witch I do not own. Can I go into program files under shared surfaces and delete the ones I have no use for? Will this hurt the program in any way?

    That is merely the list of supported hardware.  I doubt deleting would cause any problems, except if you get the said unit.  But I don't know why you would want to do it.

    I want to get rid of the other one's because it keeps reverting my settings to a controller that is listed and I dont have that controller.

    Bummer,

    Sometimes my novation LE gets changed, but not every time (or even a lot).  Haven't seen it yet in X1.   I'd write tech support.
