x1 producer install

I just got through with the super long download process for my X1 producer upgrade and I am not sure how to proceed. my 8.5 came with a very detailed set of instructions as to what order I should install each itam and I cannot find anything along those lines for x1. I have had my share of trouble with sonar in the past and I am hoping to avoid any problems due to a operator error. any advice would be great

arronwolfe has the same question as I do.   I see it has been about 10 days and no response.  I'm kind of amazed that the Cakewalk guys would release a huge download without real install instructions - I figured I was just missing something.

So now I have X1  installed - it crashes on about half my projects - Dimension Pro  runs fine off the desktop (XP)   but won't load in Sonar as a soft synth.  Beatscape won't load - crashes the system.

So I figure I could reinstall but I would really like the Cakewalk people to write something that is a real guide

    something like this

    Download these files
    - if you are doing a new install do it this way
    - do it in this order
-blah blah will unpack into a subdirectory
-if you use Blah Blah version 1.02 you need to upgrade
    - if you upgrade your old 8.5 projects won't work blah blah

I know this is a huge release - but failure to include  a real install document on this seems kinda messed up.

If I missed something here - apologies - if not - well I know personally at least 4 Sonar
users whos stuff has hit the fan on this one and while we respect the hard work you are doing on this  ( I cut code) - it really seems like a quality install document would give a lot of people things to try instead of just flailing out here.

    Thanks
