FCB-1010/ and PCR-300

I read somewhere that the FCB-1010 could be installed as a controller. I can't find the post.

I'm using the PCR-300 without any changes. (All default controls)

Will using the Cakewalk Generic work for the FCB-1010?  I thought I read a post where a Mackie control was used for GR4.

Are there any new controllers added to X1 that would work? 

I'd like to control patch changes,volume and wheel with the floor pedal if possible.

Is that possible?

    Thanks for that Glen,  I bought a  4X4 midi-port to expand midi inputs/outputs. The project has been put on hold due to lack of interest.

    Do you use the PCR as a control surface and the FCB for VST control?

    I ended up creating a Visio drawing and printing it out on tabloid sheets that show midi and audio paths just so I could sit back and look at the problems nodes.

    It would be nice to hear how your using the two together.
